The Amazing Pillow Fight
For the great price of 15 RMB, students had the chance to relieve their stress through a multitude of physical, albeit a little violent, activities at the Pillow Fight, hosted by Think+ and SPC.
The first event began with a balloon popping activity. Students were instructed to wear two balloons on their ankles, fastened by a rubber band, and were confined into the basketball court, where they had to step on each other’s balloons. The victor was to win a Starbucks gift card. The activity was incredibly intense and might as well be equivalent to intense cardio. Students dodged each other’s stampedes through merciless stomping, but no matter how tired they were, it did not matter as Starbucks was the ultimate prize.
The second activity of a mini rave party was short lived. After two rounds of intense cardio, nobody had the energy to start dancing. As “Sicko Mode” played, half of the students stopped moving, loitering on the dance floor. “Sicko Mode” is an invigorating song, and the fact that Drake’s bars could not hype up the crowd comes to show that balloon popping was too physically draining.
When everybody recuperated, the grand finale began: Pillow fighting. Hitting each other with pillows served as a stress relief from all the pressure of schoolwork. Once again students were filled with energy, motivated by the ideas of hitting their peers. Afterwards, the students cleaned up the mess the feathers created. They responsibly stayed behind for over an hour, making sure every inch of the gym floor would be left feather-less.

This was a memorable experience, and it is always a joy to see students come together and let loose.
