Winter Concert – Broadway Musical Club’s Performance

The annual winter concert in SMIC was presented on December 15, 2023. There were many perfomances such as singing, dancing, and a combination of both. The Broadway Musical Club is a quite recent club founded by highschool students. The talented club members brought their performance of a song called “This is Me”, conveying their spirit and bravery.

“This is Me” is one of the original soundtracks from the movie “The Greatest Showman” which is a great source for beginners to ogranize a musical. “This is Me” is sang by Keala Settle and the song conveys a positive message for the audience.

The song teaches people to be confident about themselves and accept themselves as who they are. The concept of self love resonates with the audience and reccurs throughout the song.

The team members completed the performance with enthusiasm, the audience clapped along. The team members sang with confidence along with complicated dance moves on stage. They’ve done an amazing job entertaining the audience while creating an unforgettable performance in the SMIC winter concert.
