The Sharks’ Carniv-all done!
On June 1st, an end-of-the-year event was held on the MHS school field 4 to 6pm. Many clubs such as JBC, French club, and Health club participated to celebrate the last school activity for the seniors. The great variety of food and activities attracted many students and teachers.
The paint twister was the highlight of the carnival. Every participant stood in their places and started to move their body parts according to directions from the MC. Because there was paint all over the mat and water balloons were thrown to the participants, all game players got wet and were covered with paint. Even though the players had paint all over their face and their clothes, they enjoyed their time. “I really recommend the paint twister because it was a great game to put everyone involved in an activity,” said Aimee Chang (11C), participant in the game.
However, paint twister was not the only fun event prepared in the carnival. Each club prepared attractive games and activities for people to enjoy. For example, Health Club prepared a dart throwing event to help people exercise their arms and work off their stress–the big sound that balloons make when they pop help reduce their stress levels. French club also introduced a game to participants which was to find QR codes that was hidden in the field. If participants found the QR code and took a selfie in front of it, they could choose a prize and take it. These activities made the carnival active and engaging.
“The carnival was a great experience to try out the activities that all the different clubs had come up with,” said Aimee Chang (11C). If there is anyone who did not participate in the carnival, please come to the next carnival and enjoy yourself!
It was awesome!!!
