Finals week can feel overwhelming. Between late-night studying, deadlines, and pressure to do well, stress builds up fast. While it may not be possible to eliminate stress completely, there are small things we can do to manage it and feel more grounded.
One of the easiest ways to relieve stress is to take short breaks while studying. Stepping away from your notes for even five minutes can help your brain reset. Stretching, getting a glass of water, or taking a quick walk can make it easier to focus when you return.

Another helpful method is prioritizing sleep. Pulling all-nighters may seem productive, but lack of sleep often makes it harder to remember information and stay calm. Getting a few extra hours of rest can actually improve performance and reduce anxiety.

Talking to someone also helps more than we expect. Whether it’s a friend, classmate, or family member, sharing stress out loud can make it feel lighter. It’s a reminder that you’re not the only one going through it.
