Shark Fiesta

Introduction

On November 3, 2023, STUCO held the event, Shark Fiesta. During this event, clubs promoted their club and earned money. There are also dance performances and water gun fights. This event was originally going to be held on October 20, 2023, but due to some strong winds, it was postponed to November 3. Even though the event was postponed, the event was still a success.

Event Day

On the event day, STUCO, performers, and club members started to set up and prepare after the bus had left at 4:30 p.m. The actual event started at 5:00 p.m. Students went around the booth to play games, buy small items, and eat pizza. There were two sections of performances. Session 1 started at 6:00 p.m. and section two started at 6:45 p.m. After all the performances, there is a water gun fight. STUCO prepared water guns and blankets beforehand so students do not get sick.

Conclusion

Even though there were many technical issues and unexpected problems, all of the students: STUCO, performers, and club members had worked hard and all contributed to make this event successful.
